Solids Interceptors
Many municipalities prohibit the discharge of solids into sewers. Food preparation and clean-up generate a substantial amount of solid waste. Solids can block sewer mains and hasten bacteria growth. The use of the ECH2OTM Solids Filters will reduce maintenance problems, contribute towards lowering TSS, BOD, and odor; ensuring compliance with local discharge regulations.
The GRS Solids Filters are designed to be used in conjunction with our Oil Removal Station as a pre-treatment device providing primary collection of the solid food particles from a kitchen's waste water flow.
